☕ This is a very special edition of Tea & Poetry, born out of longing and love. I no longer live in Cork, but my poetic heart still beats with memories of this vibrant community and now it's time to gather again, to share our words, our poems, our warm presence and celebrate this special encounter.
☕ Tea & Poetry is a place for people who appreciate poetry in literature and in life. A gathering to awaken our creative self-expression, exchange ideas, and keep the poetic flow alive within us, all while enjoying a comforting cup of tea, iced tea, coffee or wine at Myo.
☕ Join us to immerse yourself in poetry’s symbolic power. Whether it’s a poem of your own, a favourite verse from another author, a song, a dance, an image, a performance, or "simply" your listening presence. Your contribution is very welcome!
☕ Tea and Poetry is a space of cultural exchange, embracing diverse languages and creative manifestations. Let’s build this moment together!?
☕ Tea and Poetry was born in 2013 in Curitiba, Brazil, and found a second home in Cork in 2018, at Myo Cafe. During the pandemic, it traveled by post, bringing poetry to people’s homes and now, this month is happening in person in Cork City.
Feel free to join us and give your words a voice in an evening of delicious words infused with your favourite drink!
